Allie & Charlie’s wedding day was nothing short of iconic. After over a year of planning (and DIYing), the longhorn duo tied the knot at the Sunset Room, in downtown Austin. Their day was FULL of color and creativity, making it a true ATX classic.

They started their day getting ready in their Austin, Texas townhome, with all of their best friends (and their fur baby, too). The entire wedding party was dressed to the nines in their black suits & dresses, but they weren’t without a bright pop of color from Allie’s creative touch.

Each bridesmaid wore a different pair of colorful shoes, with the corresponding groomsmen that they would walk down the aisle with wearing the same color on their tie! Just one of Allie’s subtle creative touches. But the real star of the show? Allie’s HANDMADE (yes, you read that right – created from SCRATCH) WEDDING DRESS!!!!!!
The fabric, the bows, the shoes that she thrifted, everything about it was simply stunning.
If you’re curious about what her experience and process was like creating this beauty, you can check out her instagram dedicated to her sewing creations here: https://www.instagram.com/sewingtroll/ – she actually has a whole highlight dedicated to the dress!

After everyone finished getting ready and making their final touches, we all headed over to the Sunset Room on the corner of 3rd St and Trinity St in downtown Austin. The bridal party got straight to work on setting up for the ceremony & reception, setting up centerpieces and decor. The venue itself featured colorful spotlights, a fun photo backdrop made of vinyl records, and the best part?
The marquis sign outside that featured a quote picked out by Allie & Charlie for their special day.

The couple exchanged their vows in an intimate ceremony that took place inside the venue on their fabulous performance stage, and it was officiated by their dear friend.

The night concluded with lots of fun, laughter, and plenty of dancing! It was a day to remember, and the most fabulous way to celebrate this next chapter of Allie & Charlie’s lives!
