I have been a creative and a "memory hoarder" (as my husband so affectionately calls me) - for my whole life. Beyond my need to express my creativity, I have this innate desire to capture memories and priceless moments as they occur, to the point that I have to pay Apple for extra storage every month.
Naturally, on my wedding day I had the highest expectations for my photos. I wanted all of the candid moments captured, and I wanted photos that really captured all the detail of my dress.
The whole experience with my photographer ended up being a total nightmare.
A few months later - I looked at my husband and said "I really feel like I could have done a better job." and proceeded to make a Facebook post for free engagement sessions in the wedding groups I was still in. When I did my first session it was like a lightbulb went off. I felt like I finally found my place in this world.
2 years later, and here we are. Nothing in my life (other than my husband and fur babies) has ever brought me so much joy.
Now my mission is to make sure that no bride (or mama, or senior, or any client for that matter) ever has to feel the way that I felt.
With love,
Jacqueline Grover

Preserving memories is so important to me, professionally and personally. As I enter the age where my parents and grandparents aren't as young as they once were, and where all my friends are having babies - I know how important it is to remember these moments. Of course I love a good posed or editorial moment, but above all, I love photos that capture the true essence of who you are - as an individual, a couple, or as a family.
Overall, I do have a warmer vibe and a more vintage feel to my work. However, my style does not have a "one size fits all" and I typically edit according to the style or vibe of the clients that I work with.
I am a lover of all things vintage, so naturally, film photography has become my latest obsession.
(At this point it's basically my whole personality.) I currently offer 35 mm film as an add on for all of my packages (it is actually included in many of them already). I also offer mini polaroid photos as an add on and they are included in some of my packages, as well. (All the little polaroids you will find throughout my website are real photos from past sessions!)
I love shooting with film and the suspense that comes with waiting for those photos to come back. Plus, it's like a bonus sneak peek for you once they get developed!
